A guy falls for a girl (Kim Evenson), but he’s too clumsy. Meanwhile, he spies on his neighbor, a very beautiful mature woman (Sylvia Kristel), and dreams of having sex with other women.
As expected, the neighbor initiates him into sex, and at the end of the film, the guy takes the girl to bed.
Mature women with young boys is an evergreen plot, but in the 1980s there were a large number of similar films. In Italy, the film was entitled Malizia 2, to tie in with the success of the well-known film by Salvatore Samperi.
The Big Bet gives us several interesting sequences. First of all, the nudes of Kim Evenson, who had just been Playboy’s Playmate (in 1984). Kim uncovers her breasts numerous times, and in the film’s finale, she offers us a full-frontal nude between shadows and lights.
Sylvia Kristel is spied on by the protagonist. He watches her with binoculars as she undresses in her room and watches her from behind the door as she takes a shower. Towards the end of the film, the two finally have sex.
In the boy’s dreams, there are also the mature Stephanie Blake and the young Monique Gabrielle, in an elevator sex sequence.
