Angélique, marquise des anges is the first chapter of a saga of five films dedicated to the character of Angélique. The Countess – and Marquise – Angélique de Sancé de Monteloup is a character created by the spouses Anne and Serge Golon and she’s the protagonist of 13 novels, as well as five films.
